The City of Highfill is proud to offer community spaces for residents and visitors to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the outdoors. Our Community Building and City Park are available for a variety of uses including meetings, family gatherings, celebrations, and community events.
Facilities Overview

City Park & Pavilions

- Open green space, playground, pavilion, and stage
- Great for outdoor gatherings and community activities
- Pavilion and stage available to reserve (no fee)
Community Building
- 1226 W 1st Ave, Gentry, AR 72734
- Ideal for meetings, parties, showers, and small events
- Capacity:
- Up to 200 (no tables/seating)
- Up to 100 (with tables and seating)
- Includes kitchen access, restrooms, tables, and chairs

Key Policies & Guidelines
- Hours of use: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Available to the public for non-commercial use
- City events take priority over reservations
- Reservations must be approved through City Hall
- No smoking or tobacco use on City property
- No alcohol in the City Park
- No illegal substances, weapons, or drug paraphernalia
- No commercial sales or profit-based activities (unless City-approved event)
- No attaching decorations without approval
- Only painter’s tape allowed for approved decorations
- Do not remove tables or chairs from the building
- No standing or sitting on tables
- No recreational activities inside that could cause damage
All users are responsible for leaving the facility clean:
Community Building:
- Sweep/vacuum and mop floors if needed
- Clean restrooms, kitchen, and surfaces
- Remove all trash from the building
- Return tables and chairs to original setup
- Reset thermostat (55° heat / 80° cool)
- Turn off lights and lock doors
City Park:
- Dispose of all trash in receptacles
- Clean pavilion and surrounding area
Failure to clean or damages may result in loss of deposit and/or future rental privileges.
- Use designated parking areas only
- Do not park on grass at the park
- Do not block Fire Department access at any time
- A responsible adult (21+) is required for youth groups (1 per 18 children)
- No religious services allowed

Reservations
Reservations are handled through Highfill City Hall and are first come, first served.
- Submit a reservation request form
- Reservations are not guaranteed until payment is received
- Payment must be made at City Hall:
- Cash (exact change only), or
- Two separate checks (rental fee + deposit)
