The City of Highfill will have a public hearing concerning the proposed issuance of a water and sewer revenue bond to be held in the Highfill City Council Chambers at 6:30pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
The City Council has determined that extensions, betterments and improvements to the sewer facilities of the City’s water and sewer system should be constructed in order that the City and its inhabitants may have adequate and proper sewer facilities. The City proposes to issue a water and sewer revenue bond in the maximum principal amount of $3,000,000 to finance all or a portion of the costs of the improvements. The bond will be payable from revenues of the City’s water and sewer system.
At the hearing, all objections and suggestions as to the bond will be heard, and the City Council will take such action as is deemed proper in the premises.
