Highfill Municipal Code

It governs various aspects of local life, including zoning, building standards, public safety, noise restrictions, and business operations. Municipal codes ensure that residents, businesses, and visitors comply with local rules and policies.

City Council Meetings

The Highfill City Council meetings take place on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Highfill City Council Chambers, located at 2560 W Highway 12, Highfill, AR 72734. During these meetings, council members discuss various community-related issues, including zoning changes, budget planning, infrastructure projects, development proposals, traffic management, public safety, and provide a platform for public input.

Meeting Guidelines:

  • Sign-In: All attendees must sign in at the sheet located near the entrance before taking a seat.
  • City Council Packet: A QR code near the sign-in sheet provides access to the meeting packet.
  • Public Comments:
    • To speak at the meeting, please write your name and address clearly on the sheet at the podium before the meeting begins.
    • During the Public Comment period, the mayor will call on speakers by name.

Planning Commission Meetings

The Highfill Planning Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Highfill City Council Chambers, located at 2560 W Highway 12, Highfill, AR 72734. During these meetings, the commission discusses matters related to land use regulations, community development, and enhancing the quality of life in the local community.

Meeting Guidelines:

  • Sign-In: Attendees must sign in on the sheet located near the entrance before taking a seat.
  • Planning Commission Packet: A QR code near the sign-in sheet will provide access to the meeting packet.

Public Comments:
If you wish to speak on any Public Hearing items, please write your name and address clearly on the sheet at the podium before the meeting begins. When the Public Hearing starts, the Chairman will call on speakers by name. Please note that you may only address Public Hearing items. Any other issues should be brought up at City Council meetings.

Highfill Parks Advisory Committee

The Highfill Parks Advisory Committee (HPAC) meets quarterly to plan and oversee the organization of all city-wide special events throughout the year. The committee’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the planning, coordination, and promotion of these events.

  • Parks Advisory Committee Packet: A QR code near the sign-in sheet will provide access to the meeting packet.
