Key Points:• Storms may develop this morning/ early afternoon across northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas with a low severe threat, primarily for large hail.• A much higher chance of storms is forecast along a cold front this afternoon and evening in southeast Oklahoma & northwest Arkansas. These storms are expected to intensify quickly and become severe. Hazards Include:o Large to Giant Hail (Up to the size of softballs)o Tornadoes (Limited Threat)o Damaging Winds (Gusts up to 70-80 mph)• Storms are expected to move east of the region by 10 PM tonightSevere weather timing graphic for today.
