• A much higher chance of storms is forecast along a cold front this afternoon and evening in southeast Oklahoma & northwest Arkansas. These storms are expected to intensify quickly and become severe. Hazards Include:![]()
o Large to Giant Hail (Up to the size of softballs)![]()
o Tornadoes (Limited Threat)![]()
o Damaging Winds (Gusts up to 70-80 mph)![]()
• Storms are expected to move east of the region by 10 PM tonightSevere weather timing graphic for today. Non zero severe chances this morning for parts of the area, then the severe focus turns to SE OK through NW AR this afternoon and evening as storm coverage increases along with severe potential
